The Road to Redemption - From Lamb to Lamb - Ash Wednesday

The season of Lent is the forty-day period before Easter during which, historically, the Christian Church has taken time to focus on Jesus’ sacrifice, suffering, and death in our place. During Lent, Lutheran congregations have traditionally held special midweek services of prayer and meditation. This year's series is entitled “Road to Redemption.” On the six Wednesdays in Lent, and throughout Holy Week and Easter, we will trace the connection between God’s Old Testament prophecies and pictures to their fulfillment in Jesus. We’ll follow these roads over thousands of years to see how God accomplished his plan to set us free from sin, death, and the devil forever.
