Songs for the Road - Where Does My Help Come From? - Week 1

“Does the Bible have road trip music? Towards the end of the book of Psalms, there is a collection of psalms called the “songs of ascent.” This group of psalms seems to have been used in connection with the people of God going up or ascending to Jerusalem for annual festivals. These short, powerful songs would have been known by heart and regularly sung by believers 2000 years ago. We want to spend some time meditating on these songs as we head to Jerusalem for our annual visit.”
