Christian Defense - Week 1 - Be Certain of Your Calling

2 Peter was written to persecuted Christians who were in danger of being confused by false teachers. Peter reminds them the best way to DEFEND themselves against these teachers was to grow in the knowledge and practice of their Christian faith.

As Christ’s followers today we face the same persecution in different forms. ‘How can you be SURE in an UNSURE world?’, ‘How do you know that your church is teaching the right things?’, ‘How can a God of love judge all people and send people to Hell?’

As we review this second letter of Peter we are given powerful tools to defend our own faith, that we may continue to live in security and honor God with “holy and godly lives.”
