I have loved to sing since I was a little girl. My dad used to sing to and with me right before bed. Much to my mother's chagrin, many nights were spent giggling as he would take the harmony part of " Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star" or "Jesus Loves Me." It always made me laugh. But it brings up an interesting point - that the culture of singing in our daily and family lives can significantly impact us not only throughout the week, but throughout our lives. Perhaps you don't think this series is for you because you think "I'm not a good singer." However, we will discover not only why we sing, but also the overwhelming joy and holy privilege that comes with singing to our Lord and Savior, regardless of skill. We also hope to inspire us to see how congregational singing is a radical witness to the world.
