"MOPS" stands for Mothers of Preschoolers. MOPS is available to all mothers with a child age birth through Kindergarten. As a member of MOPS you enjoy regular fellowship with other Christian mothers as well as the support of MOPS international. MOPS recognizes that the years from infancy through kindergarten are foundational in a mother-child relationship and are filled with unique needs.

MOMSnext is for mothers of school-aged children.  As our children enter school new challenges arise but our need for friendship and support still exists. Our MOMSnext group allows moms of older children to find that Christian community to help them navigate through these wonderful and difficult years.

As moms we recognize that many of us live in multiple worlds.  We often have school aged children and preschoolers simultaneously.  Our combined MOPS and MOMSnext group offers the best of both worlds.  As we navigate these years and learn from each other we also learn about topics that help us grow as moms and as women.  Please join us at one of our meetings.  We'd love to have you experience this wonderful community of moms that we have made here at Living Hope.

The MOPS Experience equips women for the joys and challenges of their lives as moms. One key factor in the MOPS Experience is the relationships built within a group. Time and time again, MOPS moms share that the friends they make in MOPS are significant for this season of their life and on into their future. God created us for relationship! It’s one of the defining parts of being human.

The MOPS theme for 2016-2017 is We are the Starry Eyed:   This year at MOPS, Starry Eyed means looking for the light even when darkness is enveloping.  It is an opportunity to hope recklessly and to witness God's presence guiding things seen and unseen, comfortable and uncomfortable.  This year we will explore how to see the light in the darkness and to choose to live courageously in both.

You don’t have to do mothering alone. Whether you need a friend to compare stories with, a shoulder to lean on, or ideas to help you be a better mom - MOPS and MOMSnext is just the place for you. Join us to experience warmth and shared wisdom from other moms with a common desire to be the best mothers they can be. For up-to-date information and happenings please visit us on Facebook!

Our chapter meets at Living Hope from 7-9 p.m. on the 1st and 3rd Monday evening of the month (Sept - May).  Childcare is provided during the meetings and registrations are taken throughout the year.

MOPS International exists to meet the needs of every mom—urban, suburban and rural moms, stay-at-home and working moms, teen, single and married moms—moms with different lifestyles who all share a similar desire to be the very best moms they can be! MOPS helps moms through relationships established in the context of local groups that provide a caring atmosphere for today's mother of young children.
