Those of you who could not attend the 2017 Day of Great Commission have another opportunity! We will focus on the theme, Thoroughly Equipped! The Apostle Paul reminds us how we have been thoroughly equipped for salvation by God’s grace through faith in Jesus Christ. But as children of God and heirs of heaven, we have also been thoroughly equipped by the Holy Spirit for sharing – for reaching out with the good news of a Savior from sin to our friends, family members, and the people we come into contact with on a daily basis in our many and varied walks of life.
So often individual Christians feel “ill-equipped” for such friendship and relationship evangelism.
The workshops in this morning seminar are intended to encourage and equip you with valuable tools, insightful methods, and hands-on practical experience to help you make those spiritually vital “connections that count” with the people in your circle of friends. Through the informative presentations and role playing you will learn:
- Your own personal evangelism style
- The best way to build a relationship and start a spiritual conversation
- How to use “your story”/testimony as a way to connect others to Jesus Christ
- How to tell “God’s story” simply and effectively in two minutes or less
How to handle objections that the unchurched often cite
Throughout the morning, you will have the opportunity to take part in TWO of the THREE workshops listed below.
