Sr. High Vertical Encounters (Grades 9-12)

6:00 pm at Living Hope

On Sunday nights, we look forward to gathering together with other Christian teens.  It is a great time to connect through snacks and games, and to discuss issues that are looming large in our lives.  We do our best to blend in solid Biblical study with real-life applications on the topics in front of us each week.

Tuesday Morning Men’s Bible Study

6:30 am at Bloomington Lutheran School

As we watch a building grow up out of the ground at Living Hope this year, come join us as we look at how the early church formed and grew through a study of the book of Acts. What better example can we have than the original apostles as they began the original mission to know Christ and to make Him known? After each study ends at 7:30 a.m., everyone is welcome to join us for Pickleball.

Title: Jeremiah: Daring to Hope in an Unstable World (by Melissa Spoelstra)

In many ways we live in an unstable world where marriages fail, bank accounts run low, friendships end, and the everyday demands of a fast-paced life get us down. Jeremiah offers us hope for living in an uncertain world by learning to navigate the challenges and circumstances of our lives. This video driven 12-week study examines God's words of instruction to His wayward people through the prophet Jeremiah, and provides six guidelines for intentional living to address fear, worry, and doubt as we surrender our wills to God's and put our hope in Him alone. Each participant will need to purchase a study guide on their own. Please note that the group meets at a member's home which is very close to Living Hope and childcare is provided at Living Hope.  If you have any questions , feel free to contact Tracy at tabirkholz@gmail.com.
